Korean Address Card for Taxis, Maps, and Deliveries
Save the exact Korean place and branch name, road address, entrance detail, public phone number, and verified Naver Map link before you travel.

Save one copyable Korean destination card for every hotel, restaurant, station exit, or delivery address you will need in Korea. The useful version contains the exact Korean place and branch name, the Korean road-name address, the final entrance detail, a public phone number, and a verified Naver Map link.

Copy these five lines

Keep the card as selectable text, even if you also save a screenshot. Put the Korean first so a driver or staff member can read it at normal phone size.
- Place: exact Korean name of the business, hotel, station exit, or building
- Branch: Korean branch name when several locations are nearby
- Road address: complete Korean road-name address
- Arrival detail: entrance, gate, tower, lobby, floor, or unit that changes the handoff
- Phone and pin: the venue's public phone number and its verified Naver Map page or share link
If your confirmation shows only English, use Korea's official Road Name Address search, then compare the result with the venue's official page or Naver Map listing. Korea's address system distinguishes a road name and building number from detailed information such as building section, floor, or unit. The official address gets you to the building; the place, branch, and arrival lines resolve the final handoff.
Copy the registered Korean name rather than translating it yourself. Romanization helps you recognize a name, but the original Korean text is the dependable version to show or paste.
In a taxi, show the card before departure
For a street taxi or an airport taxi desk, show the Korean place name and road address together. Confirm that the destination is understood before the car moves, especially when nearby hotels, stations, or chain branches have similar English names. Point out the entrance line when the car needs a particular gate or lobby.
With a taxi app, the booking usually sends the destination directly. Seoul's official taxi guide still advises preparing the destination address in Korean when possible; it also tells app passengers to match the arriving taxi's license plate with the assigned vehicle. Keep the card offline for a failed connection and for the last few meters after drop-off.
The risk is often a small naming difference. In one Reddit trip-planning discussion, a traveler noted that two Fraser Place hotels with similar names could confuse an airport handoff and recommended carrying the correct Korean address. This is one traveler's experience, not a universal rule, but it illustrates why the branch line matters.
In Naver Map, search the Korean name first
Start with the exact Korean place and branch name. NAVER's official visitor usage guide announcement describes multilingual place information, reviews, routes, and real-time transit tools. The interface may be in English, but an English spelling can still be less precise than the registered Korean listing. If search is difficult, follow our separate guide to search Naver Map with Korean place names.
When the correct listing opens, compare its branch and address with your booking, save it, and add the share link to the card. A Korean Naver Blog walkthrough demonstrates the usual save-and-share flow; individual button names or positions can change with app updates.
At a hotel desk, station booth, convenience store, or information counter, show the card and use one short line:
여기 가려고 해요. 위치가 맞나요?
I'm trying to go here. Is this the correct location?
For a taxi destination:
이 주소로 가 주세요.
Please take me to this address.
For delivery, add the last access instruction
A road address may identify the building without identifying the correct tower, lobby, gate, floor, or unit. Copy that instruction exactly from your accommodation message and place it on its own line. If a courier or staff member may need to call, use the accommodation or venue's public phone number; do not share a private number unless you have permission.
Registration, payment, phone verification, and address entry differ by delivery service. A precise destination card does not guarantee that every app will accept a foreign account. It simply gives a host, staff member, or supported service accurate Korean text when they ask where the order should arrive.
Check the card before each travel day
Do not rely on any one of these by itself:
- an English brand name with no branch
- a dropped pin that was never compared with the official listing
- a screenshot with no selectable Korean text
- a road address with no relevant entrance, floor, or unit detail
- an old card that no longer matches the current listing
Open each saved link once before you leave, then keep the text available offline. When space is tight, prioritize the Korean place and branch name, full road address, and arrival detail in that order.
