Wolmido at Night: Sea Walk, Retro Rides or a Cruise?
Build the night around sunset and your return bus. My Land is the dependable neon stop; an evening cruise exists only when the date calendar offers it.

Wolmido is strongest after dark as a compact retro waterfront district, not as a guaranteed night-cruise destination. Give it two to four hours: see the water before sunset fades, choose rides after the lights come on, and board a cruise only after the official calendar shows a departure for your date. Set the return alarm before the first ride.
Route at a glance
- 1Wolmi Culture Street
- 2My Land
- 3Wolmido Marine Tourism
- Route: Wolmi Culture Street → My Land → Wolmido Marine Tourism
- Time: 2–4 hours; a cruise adds schedule risk
- Walking: About 300 m between the three close stops
- Start: 30–45 minutes before sunset, or around 18:00 only after confirming a 19:40 sailing
1. Culture Street: sea first, neon later

The flat promenade is the no-ticket option: benches, port traffic and open water. Start 30–45 minutes before sunset. The music-fountain season is listed as May through October with Monday closure, but individual sessions remain schedule- and weather-dependent. Use the map for orientation; for live walking, bus and closure information, use a Korean map app.
2. My Land: choose the full fairground mood
My Land is the bright, noisy version of Wolmido. Tagada Disco and the two-level Viking are the signature choices; visitors who dislike spinning, drops or amplified banter can enjoy the lights from the waterfront instead. The latest published example checked for this guide listed no gate fee, adult rides at ₩7,000, most children’s rides at ₩6,000, weekday 11:00–22:00 and weekend/holiday 10:30–00:30. These apply to My Land—not every neighboring operator—and weather, winter or maintenance can change them.
3. Cruise: let the calendar decide
Do not arrive assuming a 19:40 sailing. The official August 2026 calendar shows mostly afternoon weekday departures, later weekend sailings, and 19:40 on selected dates. The fireworks product page currently advertises a Saturday product at ₩40,000, while the performance-cruise example was ₩17,000 when checked; the product page is not proof that your date operates. Pick the date first, then the departure and product actually offered.
Leave before the transport plan disappears
A park closing after midnight does not extend the buses. Official route data previously showed terminal departures for buses 10 and 45 at 23:00; treat that as a dated planning reference, not tonight’s guarantee. Aim for the stop around 22:30 and check the live bus plus the remaining Line 1 connection for your exact destination. Wind and rain may also cancel rides, fountain sessions or sailings.
