Suncheon Bay Garden at Night: Know What Closes First
On the schedule checked 12 August 2026, the evening ticket covered a 5–8 p.m. garden walk while SkyCube and staffed attractions stopped earlier. Recheck every component on the day.

At Suncheon Bay National Garden, an 8 p.m. closing time does not mean every ride or staffed space runs until 8. Checked 12 August 2026, the evening ticket was sold 5–7 p.m. for a 5–8 p.m. visit. It suits illuminated paths and garden scenery; it excludes Suncheon Bay Wetland and begins as several attractions close.
Choose the night walk or the wetland day
For a relaxed night visit, enter around 5 p.m. and stay on the garden side. The current evening fare is KRW5,000 for adults, KRW3,500 for youth and KRW2,500 for children. Lighting and event programming can change, and weather may alter admission or closing, so use the live official page on the day.

The evening ticket starts as attractions stop
At 5 p.m. the zoo and Therapy Garden stop. The sightseeing car's last run is 5:40 p.m., and SkyCube's last Garden Station departure toward the wetland is 6 p.m. from March through October. The garden remains open, but the visit has shifted from attractions to a walk.
SkyCube makes this a daytime itinerary
SkyCube is a separate ticket for garden entrants, not a standalone ride. From March through October, the published first Garden Station departure is 10 a.m.; last outbound is 6 p.m. and last return from Bay Station is 6:30 p.m. Adult/youth fare is KRW8,000 return or KRW6,000 one way. Do not aim for the final car.
The Reed Train is another timed link between Bay Station and Mujingyo: in March–October the published final legs are 6:10 p.m. outward and 6:20 p.m. back. Bay Station is not the whole wetland experience: paths, gates and onward walking remain, and a late arrival can leave no usable time before closure. Anyone who wants the wetland, rather than only a SkyCube ride, needs a regular garden ticket, a much earlier arrival and a confirmed return plan.
Monday has two separate closure rules
The main garden closes on the last Monday of each month. SkyCube, the Reed Train and the sightseeing car normally close every Monday, moving to the next day when Monday is a public holiday. These are different calendars. Verify the visit date instead of assuming an open garden means an operating ride. Maintenance, weather, sell-outs and special events can also change individual services.

Walk the night section as a night route
After sunset, expect darker stretches, steps and surfaces that may be wet. Use only open paths, follow staff and posted conservation rules, and do not add bright lights, noise or drone use where they are restricted. Heat, cold, mosquitoes, strong wind, lightning or heavy rain can make the same route a different decision. Accessible paths, wheelchairs or stroller rentals, toilets and staffed help can have their own hours, so confirm the exact route and support you need before the ticket desk closes.
Exit through East Gate with a live ride plan
If Suncheon Station is next, leave through East Gate. The official access page estimates about 21 minutes on bus66 from opposite the station and about 10 minutes by car, but those are orientation figures, not a return timetable. Check the city bus system or a Korean map app shortly before leaving, save Suncheon Station, and keep a taxi buffer for a fixed train.
