Hotel-to-hotel luggage delivery from Seoul to Busan is a chain of separate agreements. A room booking does not automatically make either hotel a luggage depot, and a courier reservation does not prove that the carrier has collected the bag. The reliable plan records each handoff: both hotels approve, the operator accepts the exact route and bags, reception takes custody, the carrier scans or confirms pickup, the Busan hotel receives, and you collect with the requested ID.

The current Trazy product describes same-day Seoul–Busan hotel delivery after a morning drop-off, but prices and booking availability are dynamic. Its live public page checked on 19 August 2026 shows a two-piece minimum, hotel drop-off by 10:00 a.m., delivery after 10:00 p.m., and a 30 kg maximum per piece. It shows 5:00 p.m. KST one day before as the cancellation/reschedule boundary, not a universal booking cutoff. Use the exact checkout screen and confirmation for your channel; do not rely on an older fixed price or deadline.

Contract 1: written approval from both exact hotels

Contact the exact property or branch through its official booking message, email or published phone number. A chain name alone is insufficient. Give the full English guest name used on the reservation, check-out or check-in date, number of pieces and expected handoff window. Share the reservation number only through the official channel.

Ask the Seoul property which desk—front desk, concierge or bell desk—may store the bags and release them to the named carrier after checkout. Confirm its hours, location, tag procedure and latest handoff. Ask the Busan property whether that same authorized desk may accept and store the bags before or after check-in, including a late delivery, and what ID it needs for collection.

An unmanned accommodation, shared lodging or locker-only property may have no authorized person to sign. If either hotel does not give a clear written yes, do not book hotel-to-hotel delivery. Luggage storage advertised for guests is not automatically permission to receive a third-party shipment.

Contract 2: operator acceptance of this route and every piece

Enter the full property names, branches, street addresses, official telephone numbers, dates and booking name exactly. Similar hotel names in Myeongdong, Gangnam, Haeundae or Seomyeon are easy to confuse. Minimize personal data: the carrier and hotel may need guest name, reservation reference and a reachable phone number, but not an OTP, full card number, password or unsolicited passport photo.

Measure each item at its widest points, including wheels, handles and protrusions, and weigh it. Count a nested luggage set as separate pieces when the operator says so. A tote, backpack, golf bag or neck pillow may also count separately; unusual shapes require written approval. Recheck piece count, dimensions, weight, price, pickup cutoff, cancellation, delivery window and storage charges on the paid channel.

Domestic hotel-to-hotel delivery is not international forwarding. It does not settle customs, duties or import restrictions and should not be booked as a workaround for sending goods abroad.

Pack for a night without the suitcase

Carry passport, cash, cards, keys, medicine, medical devices, phone, essential electronics, chargers, valuables, fragile items, irreplaceable souvenirs and child-care essentials. Keep enough clothing and toiletries for a missed or late delivery. Do not send prohibited or restricted goods. Confirm the operator's current rules for electronics and batteries, alcohol and liquids, food or refrigerated items, aerosols, sharp objects and other hazardous material. Illegal goods are never acceptable.

A locked case limits accidental opening but does not create insurance for its contents. Remove loose straps and decorations, protect vulnerable parts and place a minimal label inside and outside. Avoid displaying the full reservation number or unnecessary personal details. Photograph every side, wheels, handles, locks and existing marks.

The morning chain of custody

  1. Bring all booked pieces to the approved desk before the time in your confirmation. Do not leave them in a lobby, corridor or by a fire exit.
  2. Show the official carrier information card and have staff match guest name, destination hotel and piece count.
  3. Attach the hotel or carrier tag without covering handles or safety features. Photograph the bag and readable tag while shielding personal data.
  4. Obtain a desk receipt, claim tag or written message showing when and how many pieces reception accepted.
  5. Upload the required photos through the official tracking link and save proof before its deadline.
  6. Wait for a distinct carrier pickup or scan notification. Hotel acceptance and photo upload are not proof that the carrier has the bag.

Trazy currently requires the final-confirmation photo upload by 10:00 a.m. KST and treats a missed upload as a no-show. Goodlugg also requires a luggage or hotel-tag photo. Your confirmation controls if it sets an earlier time.

What the photo record should show

The three images below come from a January 2022 firsthand report about a different, older route. They do not establish current prices or coverage. They illustrate a useful sequence: recognizable packed case, the same case staged for pickup and the same features visible after delivery.

Keep private photos in the official claim record. Do not publish a visible phone number, room key, full booking code or passport. A tracker may be used only where the operator and applicable rules permit it; use it to support a claim, not to approach a warehouse, follow a vehicle or confront a driver.

In transit: treat the advertised window as conditional

Same-day or next-day service depends on the product actually booked. Weekend, holiday, weather, traffic, road restrictions and operational changes can affect pickup and arrival. Do not schedule a flight, last train or non-refundable event around the earliest advertised delivery. Keep at least one night of essentials and a collection buffer before checkout or onward travel.

If pickup is not confirmed after the stated window, contact the operator through the official channel and ask the Seoul desk whether the bag is still there. If delivery is late, keep the Busan hotel informed and ask who can receive after desk hours. For failed delivery, return, redelivery or extra storage, request the operator's written next step and fee before paying. Do not send a deposit, OTP or card details to an unsolicited DM. Verify any payment request in the original booking account.

The operator controls transport and tracking; the origin hotel controls its storage and release; the destination hotel controls receipt and guest collection. A seller or reseller controls its booking and refund channel. Record which party had custody when a problem occurred rather than demanding that one desk solve every stage.

Collection in Busan

After official delivery confirmation or the stated window, collect from the exact approved desk with the identification the hotel requested. Count every piece and compare tags. Before leaving reception, photograph all sides and inspect shell, seams, zipper, lock, handles and wheels. Ask staff to note the time and condition if anything is missing, wet or damaged.

Read the terms attached to your booking. Goodlugg's current public page asks for damage or loss reports through chat within six hours of delivery and describes compensation up to KRW 300,000 for external damage or loss, with exclusions including handles, wheels and contents. Those public terms are not a guarantee that every reseller product, item or event is covered. Save booking, receipt, handoff record, tracking history, before-and-after photos, repair estimate or value proof as requested.

Heavy luggage and accessible handoffs

Confirm elevators and the route between room, desk and pickup point. Do not drag a heavy case down stairs beyond your ability or ask an untrained stranger to lift it. Request hotel or carrier assistance in advance and respect any fee or staffing limit. Never block corridors, doors, emergency exits or tactile paving while staging bags. Keep children clear of carts and stacked luggage.

If the service is unsuitable, compare a staffed station counter, a route with fewer KTX transfers, a licensed taxi or carrying the bag. A station alternative has its own exact counter, floor, exit, hours and contract; one provider's rules do not transfer to another.

A resilient timeline

  • Before payment: obtain two hotel approvals and operator route acceptance; measure every piece and read current exclusions.
  • Night before: pack an overnight kit, lock and photograph the cases, and save official contacts.
  • Handoff morning: obtain hotel custody proof, upload photos and wait for carrier pickup confirmation.
  • During travel: follow the approved tracker and keep a buffer; do not chase the vehicle.
  • At Busan: collect with ID, inspect immediately and report through the official channel within the contractual window.

The key is not a promised hour. It is an auditable chain: approved property, accepted booking, hotel receipt, carrier pickup, destination receipt and guest collection.
